While conducting a workshop at a community college in Southern Calfornia,
Martin Kimeldorf was asked to demonstrate portfolio making with an actual
student. Fortunately, the student chosen was Elaine; she had been introduced to portfolios while in high school. Using a scanner, pagemaker and input from
staff, Martin demonstrated how to assemble a portfolio (generally following
his model described in his book Portfolio Power). About half of this sample was assembled
by Martin in a team environment and the remainder was completed by the staff
after Martin left. Elaine plans to use this portfolio in job search now that she has earned
her Associate of Science
Degree in Administration of Justice.
