Recycling is fine EXCEPT when you 're-use' a number in a math problem -- don't do it!

In the problem you just solved:

5 + 3(6 + 4)

5 + 3(10)

You used the digit '4' (inside the parentheses) TWICE -- you added it to the 6 to get 10; then you multiplied that 10 by 3 (outside the parentheses). Next you added the 5, but then you added on that 4 again! Once you write down the answer to '6 + 4', the six and the four are gone.

Please solve this problem carefully -- without re-using any of the quantities:

7 + 3(4 + 2) =
